A branch where you can visit two permanent exhibitions. The first is the permanent exhibition ‘Scouting Paths’ at the Museum and Centre of the Scouting Movement, showing the history, traditions and ideas of scouting from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, including World War II, the communist era and contemporary educational activities. The second is the exhibition ‘Fort Jugowice. Heritage of the Place’, located in the Austrian fort 52a ‘Jugowice’. It is dedicated to the history of the southern areas of Krakow and the Krakow Fortress, its architecture and the life of soldiers.

The tour takes visitors through the historic interiors of the fort, presenting the history of the fortifications, their participation in World War I and the civilian heritage of the area, including the traditions of sulphur mining and the health resort in Swoszowice.

Obstacle-free route 
The new part of the building is free of architectural barriers and there are lifts in the building. The historic part of the fort has thresholds higher than 2 cm, and in several places there are stairs that cannot be negotiated by wheelchair (in these places we provide alternative access to the exhibition content).

Service for the deaf 
All our branches/facilities offer tours with a Polish Sign Language interpreter, but this service must be requested in advance.
