This wooden replica of a burgh from the beginnings of Polish history, which you can find on the Piast Trail, is a historical theme park. Behind the fortication, there is a display of siege machinery. On the shooting range, you can try your hand at axe and javelin throwing and, for more excitement, try shooting a mounted crossbow or a gigantic trebuchet. Kids will love to try the wooden shields and swords, the hand-powered carousel and horse riding. The burgh is a site of regular historical festivals and fighting shows.
