Poznań's Museum of Musical instruments is the only museum in Poland exhibiting both professional and folk instruments. Currently the museum has over 3000 items, 500 of which are a part of the museum'spermamant exhibition. Each if the 16 galleries focuses on an area or phenomenon which is a principal theme.
Among the interesting musical instruments in the museum's collection is a violon which used to be owned by Henryk Wieniawski and a harpsichord which was used by the young W. A. mozart and the son of J. S. Bach.
Visitors can tour the museum using a multimedia guide on a tablet which contains detailed information on selected pieces and sambles of their sound.

To take advantage of the free tour:1. Inform the staff that you have a Poznań City Card and show it to the staff before the tour.

3. After positive verification of the Card, you will be able to visit the museum for free.
